My customer presented me with a 3 year old 100 kva Cummings gen set.
I has been sitting for over 2 years waiting to be installed.
We found that the control panel had been removed, but luckily the wire plugs had been disconnected and not cut.

I would like to put back the original control panel that was installed with the gen set, I have written Cummings china, USA and locally no one can seem to come up with an answer or in most cases do not even respond to my e mails.

There is no history on the gen set prior to us being requested to install and commission the system. I am in Thailand, enough said.

how do I get a make and model number for the control panel so we can install and test this gen set.

I have attached 3 photos of the generator information. Any help with the control panel would really be appreciated.

Thank You

Just got one photo.
Do you have a wiring diagram?
Is this automatic start?
It may be cheaper and quicker to build a panel from scratch than to buy a replacement panel.
Is the engine control unit still with the set?
Is the Automatic Voltage Regulator still with the set?
We need to know who built the set; Onan, F.G. Wilson, etc.

Farang really gives it away, where r u in Thailand?

It is a capital mistake to theorise before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts. (Sherlock Holmes - A Scandal in Bohemia.)

Without the contract documentation it is difficult to say how this was supplied, but the options are:

Engine by cummins
Generator set by cummins or local supplier
Generator set and control panel by cummins or local supplier

I can only see one photo, not three

Plug connection between generator set is sometimes used by rental companies, is this where the set came from?

If the generator set supplier in Thailand will not help, then I suggest that you ask a control panel supplier to give you a price for a new panel. You will have to tell them what the application is (mains parallel or more likely standby with auto transfer breakers

I see nothing in the 1 photo that looks even remotely Cummins.

My guess is that it will be more cost effective and maybe even better to replace with generic controls.

More pictures of data plates, missing parts, engine and generator please.

I agree with JohnMcNutt, there's nothing in that photograph that indicates Cummins. Given that Cummins make engines, alternators (Stamford / AVK) plus specific control systems for their sets, it makes it difficult to work out just what a Cummins sticker on an enclosure is actually referring to.

Each of the controller manufacturers (Woodward, Deif, Comap, Deep Sea etc) generally use pluggable terminals, but even with a photo of those we'd be guessing as to which manufacturer provided it. Are there any drawings with the set that can be used to cross reference plug / wiring numbers?
