cupro-nickel corrosion

At the present time, I study a cupro-nickel alloy with others elements as Si, Al. This alloy comes from a mould which is used for the moulding of glass bottles. A corrosion layer is visible on the surface in contact with bottles. So I've tried to explain this phenomenon but I have difficulties.
If you have any informations about this problem, I would be very pleased to know them.
