Hello,
when using SOLID97 or SOLID117 elements, is it always necessary that the condition divJ=0 is satisfied? Can I simulate current in a solid conductor, which is completely surrounded by air and does not form a closed loop? Both ends of the conductor are within the air enclosure and there is no symmetry, so that loads can't be applied on symmety planes.
Thanks!
