I would like to know if anyone knows of a Hi-Reli current sense resistor with test data of continuous pulse ratings. Several of our circuits have pulses in the 100's of KHz range, way beyond the thermal time constant. The average power is 100mW but the power during an individual pulse of a few nanosec's is 5W.
The problem is the reliability engineers at every customer of ours, from Lockheed to Boeing, requires that these parts have test data for pulses, which doesn't exist for many resistor types.
Has anyone had any luck finding a good CSR with pulse data for space use?
