CURTAILING OF REINFORCEMENT 1

I am looking at the simplified method for the curtailment of reinforcement BS8110 figure 3.24
Using these simplifications does one have to add a development length of 40-50xdiameter
or is it already included in the simplification

The development lengths are included.
