Curve recognition 3

Hi,

Is there any tool, (similar to Feature Recognition) that would convert an ordinary curve into lines and arcs?

Did you try using extract? What about disassemble in the GSD workbench?

Extract would create a curve:

Disassemble in the GSD create lines only......Better something than nothing (I made lines in blue, in the picture)

Any other option available?

Hi,

Looks like circles with tangency , anyway, see this video maybe will give you some ideas.... see if you put a plane on planar curve, take screenshot and open in CurveSnap... or put some points on curves and see what you get with with three points arc...

you can use any measuring tool or the porcupine analysis.. my feeling is that those are not arc...
