Good morning,

I'm working on SW 2015, SP5 on Windows 7 Professional.

I'm trying to create a curved flange on a sheet metal part. The part has a flat face, then has a flange that follows a 2.935" radius. Normally, I would just extrude this particular part, but we need a flat pattern for manufacturing.

I just sketched it up and made it into a SM part no problem. I would send you the part but I am using SW 2017.

Sketch a single line-single arc per your lower right view, like you were going to do a "Base Extrude-Thin Feature", but instead, go to your Command Manager Sheet Metal Tab, and click "Base Flange/Tab". In the Base Flange Property Manager, select Direction 1 (and/or Direction 2) as your extrusion length (1.60) and your Sheet Metal Parameters (.063 thickness and .13 radius).....

Thanks for your help! I was able to get the parts modeled with no trouble.

Then they cancelled the project.

At least I learned something useful.
