Curvix Coupling

Looking for a reference source on curvix (or curvic-spelling?) couplings for use to attach a cylindrical body to a shaft. Basics of what this attachement method offers as pro/con verses simple shrink fit or other methods. Additionally looking for a design reference on how to calculate allowable torque transmission and fit limits.
