When I detail (make a drawing of) a mirror part, the hole callouts somehow revert to the old hole callout definitions. My custom hole callout definition file works fine otherwise. Anyone else having this problem?

Is the link between original and mirrored part broken?. If so the changes in orginal part will not propagate to the mirrored part.

No, the link is fine. Let me rephrase my question.. When detailing a mirror part, I insert a hole callout for a countersunk hole. I insert a callout for the same hole in the base part, and it is different. The base part's hole callout is the correct one. Is this a bug?

Make sure you are dimensioning on the same plane on both parts. Remember when you mirror a part "Top" plane on the original part will become "Bottom" plane on the mirrored part, or "Front" plane will become "Back" plane, depending on the face you chose to create the mirrored part.

Create a projection view from the view you are dimensioning, then project the new view again in the same direction, and try redimensioning.

Good lock.

??? I am not dimensioning holes to anything. I am trying to call out holes using the Hole Callout Format File (calloutformat.txt). The hole callouts are correct in the base part's detail, incorrect in the mirror part's detail.. why?

Hole callouts don't work in mirrored parts. Neither does insert model items/dimensions. If and when we find a solution let's share it with all.
