Hi all,

I made a custom toolbar and bitmaps for 8 lisp routines that I regularly use. The problem I am having is that when I start AutoCAD, 5 of the buttons are fine and the other 3 come up with the same bitmap. 2 of these now being incorrect.
The bitmaps are in a folder which I created and is in the AutoCAD search path. I also noted that duplicate bitmaps were generated in the form of ICON1234.bmp for some but not all.
I am missing something obvious, I know.

Thanks for any help in advance.

What version of AutoCAD are you running? Is the toolbar your own custom bar with custom icons or a autodesk toolbar with your own custom buttons on it?

It's my own custom toolbar and bitmaps. AutoCAD version is 2002

make sure you have no spaces in your bitmap file name. Also, try moving the folder with your custom toolbar to autocad's support folder and then update your support file search path in autocad. I had some luck with customizing toolbars and moving them to another location.

Thanks for the tips. I did have one bitmap name with a space and that was OK after I removed the space. The others were still giving me trouble even when I moved everything to the support folder.

Last resort, I deleted the offenders and redone them and they work fine now.

Strange how they were found in the support folder and not my own bitmap folder even though it was in the search path.

Anyway, problem solved and thanks again.
