Customer Defaults not working?

Hi guys,
I've been working on trying to get some of my settings set for my drawings but have been having some problems. I created a drafting standard with different line colors, text alignments, etc but in my drawings they don't show up as I set them; despite the standard being set.
Has anyone had a problem like this? It is getting a little irritating.

OK, there is something you need to do since you're probably working with Drawing template files which inherited the standards settings in effect at the time that the template parts were FIRST created.

What you need to do is to go to...

Preferences -> Drafting -> General

...look at changing the option you see in the section of the dialog titled 'Drawing Settings'. This will allow to either use the settings originally inherited by the template file or impose the current standard.

Thanks for the quick response John. I changed that setting, but my standard is still not coming up.
Just to recap what I did:
I changed Drawing Settings to "Use Settings from Standard".
Under Customer Defaults I created a new standard where the text orientation is at an angle.
I saved the standard and set the standard, then restart NX with no success.

What I just noticed also, is under the drafting customer defaults, I have changed all the colors to black. When I'm in drafting, all arrows and lines still come up brown.

You may have to pass this one off to GTAC and have them look at it.

Did you create a template part for the drafting, because if so ; then you need to adapt the template part in preferences to have to correct line colors, csys, etc.
