Your video is about an IKEA cabinet. IKEA's stuff is highly standardized. They use a standard thickness of MDF. The screws and dowels are standard. That funny cylindrical thing is a casting I think. There is one version only.

As designer, we can place holes with standard diameters and depths for these fittings. Only the positions of the holes need to be parametric. It should not be difficult for IKEA to add holes for their fittings to the hole wizard, and to have standard tools out in the fabrication shop to cut the holes.

Customizing your design components library in Solidworks is a fairly straightforward and easy thing to do. There are tutorials. To reference drawoh's comment, yes, the cylindrical quarter-turn fastener receptacles are diecast zinc alloy.

It is better to have enough ideas for some of them to be wrong, than to be always right by having no ideas at all.
