Hi MartinBEng

If you want to monitor devices from other manufacrurers, you may want to look at Automation Solutions has software that can communicate to many devices, including the IQ Analyzer. We have used it with CH's MPCV relay, IQ 200 meter, and Allen-Bradley Micrologix PLC.

If the metering and data may be used for revenue or revenue-check applications, consider using "conventional" ANSI-C12 components and data formats.

Thanks Daviango,

We have a whole series of IQ 200 meters and several IQ 6600 series analysers. Siemens PLCs control our plant. Can automation solutions communicate to profibus controlled devices?

MartinBEng, I am not sure but their web site lists devices with which their software has been used.
