Is it possible to use edge detect on 12 ga, then have the head move up to cut 3" tube? How does everyone else cut using a jig? fom 3015 nt.

All we did while cutting tube was change the material thickness to the size of the tube plus a little extra.

No, what we did was set the fixture and run the program with everything on a light etch (E10) so we could measure all hole locations. You can adjust the program or fixture and etch it again until it is in place. Use a marker to darken the etch before so you can see the new etch lines. Once it's good change all the cut conditions to the original settings and cut away.

The problem you have with some tubes is the rounded edges because the edge detect program will follow the edge down and alarm out.
