DA Hydraulic Cylinder Using Air on One Side

Hello,

Depending on the model, can a double-acting hydraulic cylinder be fed pneumatically on one side? The port is currently not being used and just has an air filter. It would be a much simpler retrofit for us to tie into our plant air.

The risk is that air pressure from the rod side might pass through the piston seal and make an air cushion on the capped side which could affect the extend response time...
