DAF for Oil and CO2 Removal

I have a waste stream that requires oil separation followed by CO2 and O2 removal. I started by looking at individual processes for each but a search of this board and it appears I may be able to combine oil and CO2 removal using a DAF unit installed within a oil separater. Venders seem willing to accomodate but wonder how well it would work?

I would then scavage the O2 by chemical dosing.

The second question is has anyone removed waste oil under pressure? Or rather without breaking the line pressure as happens with a atmospheric oil tank seperator. I was thinking maybe cyclones or some sort of centrifugal system.

DAF's are ususally operated at atmospheric pressure so O2 and CO2 would not require special removal.

The DAF usually has a recycle where air is added under pressure to supply the motive separation force.

Any pressurized tank with some typd of baffle may be used as an oil/water separator. The product water is taken off the bottom and the oil is decanted off the top. Separation tanks are common in the chemical industry.
