I am looking for a publication on DSR hints, Dos and Don'ts. Something of NAVFAC type not a comprehensive book. May be less than 20 pages.

Has anybody come across any resources on this subject. Thank you.

I doubt NAFAC would cover that. More like a COE pub.

Sure, NAVFAC is more of soil mech and foundations. I meant a publication on DSR, which would have a similar style to NAVFAC. Sorry if original question was not clear.

ONENGINEER,

Sorry, I've never seen a publication along the lines you are looking for. What I have done in the past is follow USACE design guidence along with any applicable State rules. Not the most convienent, but I think it makes you less likely to miss somehting.

As for Dos, I always try to keep it possitive or at least say something possitive.

As for Don'ts, the biggest one that I strugle with is not commenting on somehting just becase they chose to do it differently than I would have. Focus on, is it correct versus how you would have done it.

Good luck, review projects can be interesting and sometime you learn something new.
