Hi All,
I am running a simulation of ductile damage of a beam under flexure.
I see that the damage criterion is achieved however, the Job fails after/around the damage initiation! It gives convergence error!

How can I resolve that! Any suggestion is highly appreciated!!!

Regards,

"Convergence error" is a symptom, not the cause. It is rewarding to figure out "why" the solver is not able to converge to a solution. For example, is it because of excessive distortion of elements? If so, you might want to look at adaptive meshing.
