My application consists of an actuator where the moving element travels a relatively small distance of less then 0,3 mm.
The needing is to dampen the shock oscillation when the moving elements touches the stopper.
Actually I need some device which absorbs the kinetic energy.
I cannot implement any traditional oil or hydraulic damping systems because of small size.
I was therefore after some form of coating which has very good wear resistance, and yet good damping effect.
Can you suggest any?
Thank you.
