Ladies and Gentlemen,
Can someone please explain the difference between the following database attributes:
<W$=@$MATERIAL>
<W$=@MATERIAL>
<W=@MATERIAL>
I've noticed that each of the above three attributes works in certain situations. For example, when in drafting, the second works in a tabular note for a parts list. The default values in the tabular note contain the first attribute, but if you wish to change the default attritube, you must use the second attribute. The third attritube is only usable if I create a Note and place the attritube in the text field.
Lastly, when I create a drawing of an assembly, add a parts list and do an Auto Balloon, the CallOut numbers are all wacked out. They don't start with 010 and increment by 10. They are randomly selected. In an individual part, I can manually assign a database attribute callout of 010. When I go to the assembly drawing, the parts list Ballon number somehow gets some random numbers, ignoring the CallOut values from each of the parts, even though the attritube for the parts list field is CallOut. Where is NX getting these random CallOut numbers. Are they possibly pulled from TeamCenter?
