Hi,

I believe my database has become corrupt and thus am trying to construct a new database from my old one.

I outputted a .bdf of my model which I then read into my new database but it does not read in the groups.

I think this can be solved by recording and playing a session file of my original database however I don't think it is recording correctly. (File - session - record).

Is this the correct method? or is there a better way to reconstruct my database?

Regards,
Vijay

Hi vjshah,
If I understand correctly, you should be able to solve it thus:
Select the Utilities tab
Select Group
Select Groups To Session File
In the window select all groups and if you wish to do so you can select a name for the session file (otherwise it uses a default name).
Then press Apply.
Then open the newly created database from the bdf file and play the session file.
You now have all the old groups in the new database.

Hope this works for you.
