Dataset Name?

Sorry if this sounds basic. I have never checked into it before......

I have a file I use as a template for when I create certain types of details. When I update the attributes I see the Dataset Name attribute has a weird number. It just has me wondering what exactly is the dataset name?

Should the dataset name match the file name?
