Greetings Gents,
Is there any technical requirement/guidance on providing clamping supports for parallel runs of DC(+/-) cables? My concern is the magnetic forces acting between the pairs of DC cables in parallel runs which would cause them to attract and possible rub against each other. It seems that if the cables are clamped to a supporting structure, that would prevent the movement of the cables due to magnetic forces.
Thoughts?
Thanks,
EE
