How can I know that Dynamic Cone Penetrometer Values meets the required strength specified for the UK standard?

There is generally no minimum DPC penetration resistance value for the UK roads.

Typically you determine your CBR based on the TRL probe (which is a DCP) and compare that to your earthworks specification.

Again no UK minium CBR required, its a case by case basis or local council may have a minimum value, depending on the type of road

Thank you for your reply.
There a section in DMRB that stated that the Road Stiffness for Type 2 foundation to be 100MPa above.

How to convert CBR to MPa? The values received are CBR values.

I read somewhere that the CBR value of 15 is equivalent to 100Mpa. Is that correct?

Suppose CBR values are 15 and above for Dynamic Cone Penetrometer Tests. That means the Road Pavement foundation is good for Type 2 foundation.
