I can't figure out what is the best possible designed for the de sanding pit. Our current one is just an Open Pit which consume a lot of space and can be hazardous during operation due to evaporation of the gas. I need something that can avoid or reduce the gas exposure in the area. But they dont consider venting the gas to flare system. Just an atmospheric vent. and considering the easy maintenance access for manual sand removal.

Any advice will be a great help

There are many types of internals for separators that helps sand removals and then can mobilise the sand using jets for cleaning of the vessel without opening it.

Best regards

Morten,

Current vessel already equipped with de sanding jet what I need is a de sanding PIT to disposed the the sandy oil comes from the vessel. I need a designed aside from traditional open pit.

our current pit serves perfect but due to area restriction (facility expansion) it is being hazardous during draining operation
