Dear All please I need some helps and advice
I'm working in petrochemical plant my confuse is that the set of all PSVs of plant equipment equal to the equipment design pressure

for example
Equipment Design pressure = 20 KG/Cm2 PSV set at the same design pressure = 20 KG/Cm2

is this can to be

Yes ! This can be.

The PSV is there to open at a predetermined pressure, This is called the SET PRESSURE (opening pressure).

Set pressure is typically the Maximum Allowable Working Pressure MAWP of the vessel, which can be equal to the design pressure.

The working or operating pressure of the vessel is below the MAWP, typically 10% dependant on design/code/PSV design.

This is all explained in API-520.

Per ISO, only the term Safety Valve is used regardless of application or design.
