Dear Coleagues

I am in doubt, is there any code that does not permit to install process piping buried, inside a gathering & separation natural gas station?, what about in the case of a petroleum processing plant, liquid and gas piping?.
I will apreciate a lot your helping.

I do not know about whether there is prohibition for burried process piping within a gathering station or a process plant. But if there is any such prohibition i would be surprised, this is because of the fact when we can have a pressure vessel burried why not the interconnected piping. I have come across many Mounded Pressure Vessel designed to ASME and BS 5500 (LPG, Propelene etc Applications), i under stand Mounded storage facility i very common in Europe and many parts of central Asia.

The code does not contain any restrictions on buried piping except to ensure that all live and dead loading are addressed.
