Hello all,

I use parameters from a distance analysis feature to populate tables in drawings for dynamic coordinates for pipes etc.

Is there a way to control the number of decimal places that these parameters get displayed with in the table without reducing the overall 'default_dec_places' in config.pro as I don't want to reduce the overal accuracy, just sometimes on certain parameters.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Jon Reynolds

Well to answer my own question, I found this very useful tip:

In the table (note, whereever) cell where you are typing:

&parameter_name

to get the parameter value to show, add [.nd] after, where 'nd' = number of decimal places to round to:

&parameter_name[.2]

So if parameter_name = 123.4567,

then &parameter_name[.2] will display: 123.46

Nice.

Yes, that is it. You deserve a star for finding it.

Yeah, I gave him a star for answering his own question, and correctly at that.
