I have compiled a calculation sheet using excel on calculating the drag & inertia force, with the available sea data.
However, there are few assumption made such as d/L, Cd and Cm. And lastly I convert the resultant force into stress act on a hollow cylinder.
I hope someone who can help to pin point the error in the calculation. Attached calculation sheet. Thx.
