could anyone help me with the definition of the center of the resistance in a building or anywhere )
and the difference between this and center of stiffness , im really in need of knowing it ,

Usually it's the location where a shear load can be applied without inducing torsion and it's interchangeable with the centre of stiffness. If you google "shear center", you'll get the idea.S
