Default properties file in NX Adv Sim?

Hi everyone!

Is it posssible (and how) to define default/standard pysical properties, mesh collectors, materials and mesh thickness when opening/creating new .fem file?


E.g.: when i create new empty .fem model i would like to have already predefined physical properties for various shell thicknesses that we use, and from there also predefined mesh collectors for these properties.

Does it have to be some kind of template file, settings file or what? And is it possible to make this file available for more users, to place it on a common network drive?

Have you looked at what can be preset using Customer Defaults? Also, if you're using the supplied Simulation template files accessed from the the File -> New... dialog, you can open those original template masters (located in the /UGII/templates folder) and make any changes to settings and such that you wish and resave them.
