Hello all. I am trying to plot out the stresses across a set of nodes lying on a particular edge.
I have used the path command to define the start and end nodes, and created the xy dataset by using the "include intersections" checkbox. Although this does give a decent plot showing the coordinates, I found out that it doesn't go through all of the nodes in my selected path. (the points and stresses extracted in the rpt file show 30 points, although the number of nodes going through that point is 65 points)
From how I understand, the "include intersections" option goes through what it sees as the "required" points, so it doesn't find it necessary to go through all of the points in the nodes. However, I want to go ahead and make sure I get a good enough resolution in my plots, and therefore is necessary for me to plot at every node intersecting my start and ending points.
Is it possible to set this in the options, or is there a way to plot stresses across a defined path, and have it intersect through ALL of the nodes?
Of course, I am asking for a method to do this without having to individually select each node.
Thanks in advance for the help.
