hi,
I am a Ph.D. student. I would like to know how can I define an electrolysis in aspen plus in order to decompose water. Now suppose that, this is the SOEC (solid oxide electrolysis cell)for decomposing co2 and h2o. As all know, the reactions would be as following:
2h2o----]2h2+o2
2co2----]2co+o2
Do I need a special reactor in order to model it in aspen plus? or I have to define a user model. if the user model is answer how can I start it?
Any ideas? thanks in advance for your helpful solutions
