Definition of a new variable

Dear colleagues,

I need your help!!! I'm trying to define in the post-processing step a new variable (representing a critical stress) depending on several stress components and constants. Then I would like to visualize the contour plot of this variable in the whole model and find the point (element) where it reaches the maximum value.

How can I do that?? what is the proper cae function? Abaqus users's manual is so huge that I didn't find it!
