can anybody explain what does DEHUMIDIFIED AIR RISE means in Heat load calculation??

My guess is that this is the dehumidified air temperature rise. If you dehumidify air with a refrigeration type dehumidifier within the space, there will be a temperature rise from the condenser side of the dehumidifier. The air is cooled at the evaporator to condense out the humidity then the air passes over the condenser to be reheated and cool the condenser side of the refrigerant cycle. This can be calculated or approximated on most psychrometric charts - or at least thats how I was taught 40 years ago.

Can't this be calculated from the current consumpion of the motor?

The good engineer does not need to memorize every formula; he just needs to know where he can find them when he needs them. Old professor

thanks verneE!
Actually i was using E-0 form for heat load calculation...
in that i found the formula to calculate this dehumidified air rise, i too thought that it is the rise in air's temperature. But i was not getting the clear concept of it..anyhw thanx for ur answer..
and that formula is
Dehumidified Air rise= (1-Bypass Factor)*(Room Temp - selected ADP)

Part of that temperature rise would be from the heat of compression of the compressor and from the electric motor if you are looking at model used in residences.
