I have a Delayed Coke Unit on sites. And there's a corrosion problem on elbow parts of coke cutting tool used for delayed coke drum. Of course, corrosion is not a big deal in this case.

But I tried to find the official technical guideline for cutting tool replacment. If the remaining thickness of the elbow is 60%, should it be replaced? 70% or 50% is an official criterion?

The manufacturer, Dresser. Inc., told that they didn't have a guideline. The license company, Flowserve, didn't answer.

Does anyone have an experience like this?
Then plz give me some advices.

Thanks.
