To whom it may concern:

I’m trying to create a CATScript that will search a CATPart and delete the deactivated Add’s the “Part Bodies and all the “Features” contained within the deleted Part Bodies. I’ve had limited success with this I can use the following search string: selectoin1.Search "CATPrtSearch.Add.Activity=FALSE,all" to remove the deactivated Add’s but the Part Bodies and the Features within still remain behind in the CATIA tree(see attached .jpg file).

Additional information that may help: The Add’s that we are trying to delete are renamed a specific way and so are the Part Bodies (see attached .jpg file).

I’m new to the programming aspect of CATIA and I can’t figure out how to accomplish this.

Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated; samples and examples you are willing to share would be terrific!

Thank You in Advance

My strong side isn't programming but I know that if you delete a boolean it won't delete the body used in that operation. I'm guessing that you need to identify the body used in the boolean and delete it prior to deleting the boolean.
