Is it possible to delete a SINGLE item in a group without deleting the entire group?

I often group related components in my assemblies to simplify and organize the tree. BUT, when I want to make a change (such as deleting one of the parts), I first need to ungroup, delete, and then regroup.

Thanks for the tips.

You should be able to Right click the group in the model tree and choose redefine. The UI for this is kind of weird but you should be able to use unselect or unselct last to unpick features to be included in your group.

Once the features are ungrouped you should be able to delete them if they don't have any child dependencies.

I think you may possibly be able to do this in Wildfire 3

The one issue you will have with "selecting out" the members in the group will be the fact that if you choose an item that is in "the middle" of the group (i.e. not the first or last part), it may not allow this. Groups require that the features or parts be consecutively ordered.

What would be nice in WF3 would be a "regroup" tool. Word has something like this when you group drawing entities and such. You can ungroup things, delete whatever you want, then regroup them.
