Do you have any experience or knowledge in different density of cast steels due to different alloy elements.
I need to know density difference between ASTM A351 CF8M & ASTM A351 CK3MCuN.
The same pc casted in these 2 different materials, has the same weight or different weight.
I suppose that CK3MCuN should weight more. But how more?
Thank you

It's difficult to put an accurate density on a casting alloy. Much depends on the soundness of the casting. It can be schrinkage free but still it's density will depend on the amount of feeding.
That's why depending on the source, you will get different values. E.g. for CF-8M I found values between 7750 kg/m³ up to 8030 kg/m³.
The only value I found for CK3MCuN was for it's wrought equivalent AVESTA 254SMO and was 8000 kg/m³.
