Has anyone got an accurate figure for the density of A494 CW2M (cast Hastelloy C4)?

I can only find reference to the wrought version, with numbers ranging from 8.64g/cc to 8.94g/cc.

Thanks

I would use the wrought version. Also,if you want to be precise about this you better know the service temperature because the density will change with temperature.

Steel castings Handbook pp27-4 for CW12M gives a value of 8.94gms/cc. Perhaps this could be the closest I could locate.

Just curious to know, why such precise value?
