Hi !

I designed a casting bracket, and got it tested , mounted on engine, Results show me Grms values of X, Y, Z directions.

I understand that X value is high , and i need to reduce that by changing my design..

Dont know how to go about it .. any BigBro can help me in this ? so soory for such a question !!

Well, you might try stiffneing the brakcet, or picking up more mounting bolts. Trouble is 640 Hz is already pretty stiff.

To be honest 4g isn't enough to get excited about.

Cheers
