Hi guys,

I am looking to find a guide to carry out a structural assessment anchor studs to BS5950.

Two anchor bolts diameter of 24 mm are bolted to a 40 mm thick steel plate dimensions of 200 mm x 200 mm. is there any guide to do that?

Thanks.

I could not get your point. Is the 40 mm thick steel plate ( with dimensions of 200 mm x 200 mm ) a column base ? Are the Two anchor bolts diameter of 24 mm located btw flanges provided for nominally hinged base ?
A sketch would be helpful to get better responds.
