Hi,

I am having tough time understand how the design assistant works. I actually want to rename parts with new names. I dont want the assy to fail and ask me to resolve links later.

Can somebody guide me briefly.

Why is my rename option on the Action column is greyed out. Does anybody know why is this?

I could figure out the issue here. I am using the frame generator and creating new structural parts. Da would not allow me to rename them. It allows to rename any other pats that I create without using frame generator.

In otherwords, I belive we cant rename parts that are created using content center.

Any comments?

Your probably correct..
Or it might have something to do with read/write permissions but I suspect they want you to manually create the new part and republish to content center,etc..
