I did a search on this, but really did not find anything.

The NEC addresses demand factors for residential bldgs, but what about commercial and industrial facilities. Is there any publication with guidelines on what to use. Or what are some opinions for different types of facilities.

The IEEE Grey Book - Electrical Power Systems in Commercial Buildings (Standard 241) has quite a bit of data on typical loads and demand factors for different types of commercial facilities. It also has some guidelines on computing loads.

If you're doing commercial building work, it's a good reference to have.
