Design eccentricity of pump impeller

I am designing footings for several slurry pumps. I know that I should be able to calculate dynamic loads from
Fo=m.e.w^2 where
m=impeller mass, e=eccentricity, w=angular speed in radians/sec

Does any have any good references for eccentricity of slurry pump impellers? Both initial and after several years of service. Trying to get information from pump manufacturers is like pulling teeth from a canary.

1. Why would eccentricity be a problem with a new unit. If you purchase a slurry pump from a reputable manufacturer, any out of balance forces from eccentricity would be accounted for by dynamic or static balancing during the manufacturing process.
2. As to the amount of eccentricity after a number of years of slurry pumping is like asking for the winning lottery number -- how would you expect the manufacturer to have this knowledge as there are innumerable factors acting on the wear characteristics of an impeller.

As a matter of interest what size are these slurry pumps?

Size around Warman 14/12 AH, 274kW demand.

I would expect eccentricity to be small at time of installation but what could I expect in service as a worst design case? How bad could it get before the pump was shut down?

The Warman 14/12AH is built like a battle ship and I wouldn't be so concerned with eccentricity but rather out of balance forces due to uneven wear of the impeller and unbalanced hydraulic forces, and as far as the pump itself is concerned these forces can be much higher on this pump type than what would be considered extreme on a light weight process pump. However, for the foundation design you need to apply normal criteria and and the following might be of assistance to you:

or check in Google - "Pump vibration" many references.
