I need some opinions to this question. What design flow would you use to design a septic sewer system for a National Guard Rediness Facility?
Facility includes typical fixtures like 20 showers, bathroom fixtures, kitchen equipment, etc. Based on fixtures, Total DFU's is 354 which will require a 6" discharge line. Using Hunter's curve, water demand estimated at 145 GPM. Typical occupancy is 23 people per day and on guard weekends (1 time a month) at 361 people. Similar type facilities would require using 20gal/day/person. That would be 460 gal for 28 days of the month or 7,220 gal for guard weekend. Any suggestions?
