All,
I realize there have been previous threads about this, but many of the links are out of date so I wanted to see what design guides there were to help with the design of a residential dock (pier) in the Seattle Area. Dock will be wood, extending approximately 100' into a shallow marine bay. Bay is fairly well protected so normal wind, but only lighter chop (<<3'max). End of dock will have floating portion and ramp for boat tie up. Mainly looking for resource for wave and boat docking/mooring loads (can do wind/seismic from IBC/ASCE7).
Thanks in advance!
