Does anyone know of a book or site which goes over Design Journal? I am looking for the "How To's" to move towards a more paperless design in regards to vendors.
Thanks
Adam

Don't know of any. I use it for inserting links, docs, pics, or any ref info for the design. The problem is getting users use to looking at it.

Thanks. Since we make the products, we can drive our vendors towards using it if we prefer it. I will be looking for more info. If I find any free info, I will place it in a post.

The Design Binder is just a storage area where data relevant to the part/assy (Specs, ECOs, Calcs, Resons for ???, etc) can be placed or linked to.

The Design Journal is just a Word document to help do the above.
