Dear Mr abirami1988
A. " I am trying to design a dc contactor for 500A, 110 V. We are a small design team and do not have much basics regrding the same....".
C1. I don't understand why have you to design a 500A 110V contactor , where it is easily available on the market place. It is a standard basic product by most contactor manufacturers. The cost would be " nothing" in comparison to your own design.
C2. There are 2,3 and 4-poles types, suitable for 110V DC operation up to 650A; suitable for utilization category DC-1, -3 and -5.
C3. Where are you located? Or you have some very special requirements that you Have to design it yourself?
