Hi, Currently I am designing a product which is protecting an inspection device. The requirement is to find out the surface defects of a component using the instrument. The component is reciprocation with a velocity of 100m/s, component has a temperature around 1500°C and the surrounding area where I am planning to place the device is 1100°C. The component movement is happening inside a duct. The duct has an opening window of 50mmX 20mm.
1) I am planning to place a transparent material (like glass) at opening window which protects the inspection device (placed behind). Any info about this kind of material which withstands the high temperature?
2) I am looking for inputs to select a coating which can withstand 1100°C for the enclosure where the instrument is protected.
3) Other inputs for this kind of product design.
4) Long back I was working with an aerospace company (design department) where I used to apply a bakeable coating on the device before assembling on the satellite. Please share any info if any one aware of it.
5) How to prevent corrosion because of the gases.
Text me for any other details if required.
Regards
